A diverging lens has a focal length of 20.0 cm. Use graph paper toconstruct accurate ray diagrams for object distances of (a) 40.0 cmand (b) 10.0 cm. In each case determine the location of the imagefrom the diagram and the image magnification, and state whether theimage is upright or inverted.
(c) Estimate the magnitude of uncertainty in locating the points inthe graph. Are your answers and the uncertainty consistent withwhat you would find solving algebraically? (Do this on paper. Yourinstructor may ask you to turn in this work.)
