A truck is stopped for a red light at Ridge Road on Higgins line.At the instant the light turns green, the truck pulls away with aconstant acceleration of 2.3 m/s2. What is the elapsed time from thechanging of the light to when the cyclist passes the truck?
I have used 2.3t^2=10.8t-9.9 and got an answer of 1.25, but when Iinput this answer into the assignment it came up as incorrect. Whatcan I do to get the right answer?
