The ion source in a mass spectrometer produces both singly anddoubly ionized species, X+ and X2+. The difference in mass betweenthese species is too small to be detected. Both species areaccelerated through the same electric potential difference, andboth experience the same magnetic field, which causes them to moveon circular paths. The radius of the path for the species X+ is r1,while the radius for the species X2+ is r2.

How can i get 1.41 as the answer?? show me plz
