A certain telescope always produces fuzzy halos or circles aroundthe image of a bright star. If it has high quality lenses, what isprobably wrong with the choice of telescope?

a) it is too short
b) its diameter is too small
c) it is vibrating
d) we are looking through the wrong end of the telescope
e) there is nothing wrong. The halos are part of the star. Theyhave nothing to do with the telescope.
