A light spring with force constant 3.95 N/m is compressed by 7.68cm as it is held between a 0.263 kg block on the left and a 0.526kg block on the right, both resting on a horizontal surface. Thespring exerts a force on each block, tending to push them apart. The blocks are simultaneously released from rest. Find theacceleration with which each block starts to move, given that thecoefficient of kinetic friction between each block and the surfaceis the following values. (Let the coordinate system be positive tothe right and negative to the left. Be sure to include the sign toindicate the direction of the acceleration.)

(a) μ = 0

acceleration of heavier block:
acceleration of lighter block:

(b) μ = 0.010

acceleration of heavier block:
acceleration of lighter block:

(c) μ = 0.138

acceleration of heavier block:
acceleration of lighter block:

I would really like to see how this is set up more than anything. Iwould assumed finding the spring potential energy (I got 0.01165J)and setting the two equal to it somehow added together? Help wouldbe much appreciated!!
