To prepare sodium hypochlorite( NaCLO), the principle component inchlorine bleach, chlorine gas is bubbled throught an aqueoussolution of sodium hydroxide:
2NaOH(aq) + CL2(g)-------> NaOCL(aq) + NaCL(aq) + H2O(I)

A) If you begin with 18ml of 0.25 M NaOH(aq) and add 100ml ofchlorine gas at 0.993 atm and 25degrees C and the final temp of thecalorimeter is 28.42 degrees C, what is the heat capacity of thereaction? Remember that there is the water the NaOH is dissolved inas well as the calorimeter to include in the calculation.

B)What is the molar enthalpy of the reaction?

C) Based on the enthalpies of formation and of the other componentsin the reaction, what is the enthalpy of formation of sodiumhypochlorite?
