An eating disorder is a serious mental health condition that involves an unhealthy obsession with eating, exercise or body shape. Anyone can get an eating disorder no matter what their age is, from which culture they belong or of what gender they are. Australians by 4% to 16% especially the young adults and children as young as 12 and under. Its cases are proliferating, and this disease is becoming more common among masses with hike of cases in major hospitals in sydney and melbourne. Australian males with 37% for having the eating disorder, which shows females are much prone to the disease. For instance, girls involved in athletics and modelling, where body image is all- important, tend to be at higher risk.
