Document Summary
The purpose of the interview is for the interviewer (the officer) to pull a confession out of the interviewee. It can be seen at the beginning of the interview that the officer has come prepared with a stack of photos to present to the individual being questioned. Early on, the officer uses the reverse recall method technique, asking the interviewee his version of events. The young man appears to be nervous, as he is sitting with his arms crossed and his leg can be. At one point, the officer confronts him about not maintaining eye contact when asked a direct question. Once the officer displays the photo evidence to the interviewee, he still denies any involvement in the incident. He remains adamant that he has done nothing wrong, no matter how many times the officer repeated a jordan symbol could be seen on the car, the same type of shoes the interviewee likes to wear.
