As people get older, watching becomes more important, makes their world bigger. Space is totally meaningless in itself (it can"t think it can"t act. ) Turn a space into a place by decorating it (such as a dorm room) and putting personal effects everywhere makes it a comfort zone for you. A place i feel completely at home is on the soccer field back at my high school where i used to play. I spent a good amount of time there for the four years i was in high school, especially in the fall. It was a place that was home for me, that held a special place. It was a place i could get away and was totally and completely myself and comfortable. Living in a place for 50 years if home for a person they are reluctant to move away and they don"t want to.
