Only in context of paradigm that you have rational justification. *kuhn is relativist with respect to rational justification & relativist with respect to truth (depends on which paradigm you are in) There is some stuff that extends from paradigm to paradigm, but they do not have standard of rational justification. If did have rational justification, would be able to build knowledge over time. Part of reason tough to get people to accept discovery of x-rays because created issues for existing paradigm. Previously completed work would have to be done again & denied work of previously paradigmatic types of instrumentation.
