Anticathexis - pressure that inhibit you from getting what you want, the outside world stopping you from getting the satisfaction. He is concerned with the id and the self. The id always wants something, and the satisfaction when it achieved what it wants is cathexis. World is subjective -- my world is going to be framed in a way that is unique to myself, people see things and others in different ways. The object is there, but the internal image that we have of this object is different from what other people view. Disconnect between the two can lead to problems such as stress and anxiety, or it can be a pleasant surprise. Psychic reality - considered to be the subjective view we have of the world, basically my own reality.
