Teaching can be time consuming inside and outside the classroom. Preschools must be very well organized so children can help clean up and be organized. Teaching practices must be adjusted for the age group. Age appropriate: what children are like in a general age range, which slide is better, have they grown out of a baby slide and can go on a real playground. Can be ne, if there is enough interaction to keep them occupied. A kindergartener laboriously copies a series of words onto lined paper. Can do this if it is meaningful for them but if not then it can be bad for them to just copy words. Be sure there is a range of toys within an age range because not every child will develop at the exact same pace. Used in design, application, and evaluation of activities, interactions, and expectations. Know where the individual children need to go next in their development.
