Senders - the encoders, the person doing the nonverbal behavior. Receivers - the one trying to decode nonverbal communication. Ex: person who hears sarcasm or person who sees your nonverbal behavior. Kinesics - the messages that we send through body movement. Ex: gestures, facial expressions, eye gaze/movement (oculesics) Ex: clothes, size of body, shape of body, Ex: lab coat can communicate being a doctor.
