Depend on how it is coupled: t-j: make quick decisions based on logic, f-j: make quick decisions based on what they feel is right. J and a p- can drive each other crazy. Global village- we can communicate with anyone in the world instantaneously: coined by marshal mccluen in 1970s. We are disclosing to screen not a person: post cyber disclosure panic- someone self discloses online then panic about doing so. Interest- select things that confirm our beliefs: organizing- categorizing stimuli in order to make sense (simply categorizing, relational schema- developing a mental framework or memory structure to help understand experiences and guide future behaviors. Relational history know how someone reacts to things, Relational satisfaction how happy/unhappy you are in. Expectations-pleasantly super-ceded or they aren"t met; ability to understand other"s situations: base them on previous experiences, knowledge of self/others world view what we know about.
