For example, consider the factors in modern life contributing to marital and family problems, such as divorce rates, battering, drugs, teenage pregnancy, etc. I think the modern perspective on marriage has a lot to do with how many options are available to people. Technology has really taken over the dating world with apps such as tinder and. Bumble where people can have a date within seconds at the tip of their fingers. Even when a date goes extremely well one can be left wondering if there"s something better out there. It is much easier to be single and not feel lonely with this type of technology available. I think this encourages the trend of not wanting to get married and marrying later in life.
