Document Summary

Select the side polygons and begin pulling them back to make the winged part that wraps around the ear. For the next piece of the model, i will be using the helmet side 2 reference for the ear cover because it has more interesting detail. In layer explorer, create a new layer and name it ear cover. Freeze the helmet shell by selecting the snowflake next to the name. In the left view, under the create tab, create a cylinder and size it to fit over the largest circle for the ear cover in the left reference image. Line up the cylinder in the front view with the right side of the helmet. Delete the back polygon that is going to be on the inside of the helmet. Under the modify tab, scroll down to edit polygons. Hold down shift and drag the object out in the x-direction.
