Thus neuropsychology has field of application in brain damage, toxicology, road safety, sport, geriatrics, child neuropsychology, medical, labor or professional, transcultural neuropsychology, and experimental neuropsychology. Within the field of neuropsychology we can identify a whole body of professionals dedicated to the research of cognitive processes. The objective of these researches is to provide a theoretical- experimental framework to neuropsychology in such a way that many of these discoveries can subsequently be used in the clinical field. It isessential for the publication of the results (medical or neuropsychological journals) that on the other hand will allow to check the veracity, rigor and relevance of the results. The rebuttal of the results by other research groupswill give scientific significance to thefindings. Research may be based on group or single-case studies.
