Have organized structure made up of organic molecules (molecules of life) At every level that we look at a living organism we find that the structure is organized in a particular way, not random. Organic molecule: the molecule is made up of a carbon backbone. 4 classifications are fundamentally the building blocks of living organisms. We take in carbohydrates daily in the form of starch but we also take in carbs in. Sugar is a very small type of carbohydrate (lactose, fructose, sucrose) and we the form of sugar break them down. Body liberates them into a very simple molecule called glucose and we use glucose as our #1 fuel source to drive all of the things that happen in our body. Glucose is essential and because of it we maintain a relatively constant concentration of it in our blood and our cells use it for a quick source of energy the time)
