Transform bacteria with library and plate them on a medium and carry a sort of selection (only growth of cells with a certain genotype) Select for cells to have a phenotype given by the red dna by observing them to grow on this plate. How to make a library into multiple cloning site. Have to cut or digest dna source with restriction enzymes which can be ligated into the plasmid.
