One of the scales on that test is the masculinity and femininity scale. 54 adjectives; arrived at these 54 by asking thousands of males and females to generate adjectives that generate the stereotypical female and stereotypical male. 27 of them are stereotypical masculine; 27 female. You can score your own: you give yourself a plus one for every stereotypical masculine and take away one for every stereotypical feminine item that you endorse. The theoretical range is between +27 (all masculine) and -27 (all feminine) Generally, what the prof has seen, is that the distribution leans to the positive end. To be an undergraduate, you have to be strong, enterprising, opportunistic, etc. If you went to the playboy mansion it would be leaning to the negative end.
