Ear is air which carries soundwaves over distance unlike light which is neurotransmitters. Orchestra= sound waves- hit eardrum- transformed into music. Retina rods, cones and millions of receptors, ear has a thin tissue filled with little hairs that send transmitters to allow us to hear. Sound there are property of the soundwave that allows us to hear different pitch"s, sounds, frequencies: perceptual organization. Image starts off as flat then become multi-dimensional. Depth can be shown as early as 6 months. Each eye can determine depth on its own. Imagines on left retina and right are at different areas (2 inches apart) therefore will refract different images but very very similar just a little different. Binocular- both eyes are used to see depth. } critical information brain uses to see depth.
