People who exercise regularly tend to be healthier and are more likely to maintain a healthy weight and have little or no excess fat compared to people who don"t exercise. Clinical breast exam: mammography (age 40 or earlier) Change in bowel habits: a sore that doesn"t heal, unusual bleeding or discharge, thickening of lump in breast, testis, or elsewhere. Indigestion or difficulty swallowing: obvious change in a wart or mole, nagging cough or hoarseness. Fair skin, light eyes, or fair hair. A tendency to develop freckles and to burn instead of tan. A history of childhood sunburn or intermittent, intense sun exposure. A personal or family history of melanoma. A large number of nevi, or moles (200 or more, or 50 or more if under age 20) or dysplastic (atypical) moles. Treatment: depends on the stage and extent of the disease .
