Health is a state of complete, physical, mental and social well-being, not merely the absence of disease. The enjoyment of the highest attainable health is a fundamental human right. Its a connection between the body, mind, and spirit. Physicians look at physical and biological measures and rarely at mental, emotional, etc health. Health is impacted by many factors such as environment, genetics, behaviours, etc: health care system. Infrastructure that helps individuals be healthy, treat diseases and live longer. Current health care model was designed in 1974 (by health care minister marc lalonde) He said that health is influenced by biology, environment, healthcare structure, and lifestyle. Canadian health care is a combination of public and private plans. Public health plan; available to all citizens to cover almost all elements of health care, except medication and treatment costs. Medications are usually covered through private health care plans covered through employment benefits.
