Jesus born in palestine at 3 bce, raised as a jew, travelled with his 12 disciples. 12 male apostoles who also brought their wives. At 33 he was captured and cruci ed by the romans. 3 days later he rose from the dead. Stain glass windows were used to tell the story of christ since majority of people with unable to read and those who were literate could not read latin. Muslims and jews reject the idea jesus is the son of god/ messiah. The four gospels are the rst four books out of 27 of the new testament. The synoptic gospels refer to mathew luke and john. Worship typically took place at home and woman had a big role in early christianly there were no big cathedrals at this time (because they were persecuted) Gentiles who adopted christianity were not expected to undergo circumcision which is a mark of the covenant.
