A knowledge user is ny idnivdiuasl who is likely to be able to use the knowledge grained through research to make informal decisions about policies, programs, and practices. A knowledge user can be a policy maker, educator, practiciioner, etc. Synthesis requires contextualizing ndings from individuals research studies within a larger body of knlwdge on a topic. These can be things like meta-analysis or peer reviewed journals. Deceptive studes, cross-sectional studies, or narrative or systematic reviews. Knowledge disseminaruib is idenityfting a particular group that would bene t from knowledge and tailoring it to that group.
