Social bc these roles are either ascribed (given to you) or achieved (what you"re doing) Ego and personal can be understood separate from social structure so therefor they are a part of human development. Misalignment or a coming into alignment of domains of identity then one experiences an identity crises. Ego identity; crises evident by a subjective sense of identity confusion you don"t feel there is something consistent about you through time and social space. Personal identity; crises is evident by unstable, character, and behavioural displays. Social identify; crises is evident by lack of commitment to recognize roles in society.
