Philosophy: personal identity (memory and experience as a criterion for identity. Personal identity as bodily identity, our bodies are always changing. I know who i am without checking my body, we know that we are the same person after waking up. It is conceivable that i could wake up in another/a different body (story: the prince and the cobbler) the prince switches body with a cobbler, similar to freaky friday . If you can"t conceive sameness of person without sameness of body, you are not using the criterion of body. Bodily identity cannot be used as a criterion for personal identity. Our interactions with objects is always with a part of the object. Parts or stages connected to form a whole. People are a unit that have multiple parts/stages. Identity is not something under the person stages , identity results from those stages.
