Cyborg is a combination of cybernetic organism. The cyborg suggests that humans and their instruments are now co-extensive. We are now the robots, there is no other: the cyborg breaks down the distinction between what is inside and what is outside. Humans consider that their identity lies deep within us. Vk test protects humans from being infiltrated by the machine. Now with cyborgs, the distinction between in and out goes away; the world of the machine gets inside us and becomes an aspect of us, becomes us. In the world of the cyborg, the inside and the outside comprehend eachother (mcluhan: we usually think of ourselves as particular and unique. If you are a cyborg, there is a part of you that you do not possess. We become a trajectory, a network (mit) There is yes connection, but also disconnection. When case jacks in, he is a kind of cyborg.
