Sapir-whorf hypothesis (linguistive determinism) > idea that in extreme form, our language determines our thought; if some concept doesnt exist in language, then incapable of having the thought; very little evidence. Linguistic relativism > doesn"t determine thought but has an effect. Different descriptors for general concept of key if it happened to be masculine or feminine. Vast majority, left hemisphere is important for language comprehension and production.
