Premenstrual phase: last few days before onset of menses, only without fertilization of ovum, corpus luteum becomes ischemic, and starts to atrophy, falling progestin levels, reduced blood flow to endometrium dies. Female fertility: from menarche to menopause, females are fertile, from 3 days before ovulation until 5 days after ovulation, until 5 days after since it takes days for egg to come down. Male fertility: spermatogenesis, continuous from puberty to death, made in testes, mature in epidydimi, in seminal vesicles up to 48 hours, sperm storage, semen production, in prostate.
