Document Summary

The outer most layer of the skin, the top layer of the skin is often dead. The very surface layer has lots of dead cells. In plants theres a root tip for protection. Theres special microtubules where a and b go gotether, and the microtubules act as a brace that make the plant grow in a certain way. Take a look at turgor pressure as a response to elongation. Common lymphoid progenitor and common myeloid progenitors are transient amplifying cells, theres lots of cell turnover, lots of molecular turnover. We can take our own cels, and if we add those 4 transcription factors it can change the cells. These 4 transcription factors wll change the cell into the inner mass cells, the cell cant change into cells like the zona pellucida. Drugs developed for 1 disease can be repurposed for different diseases because the proteins can function differently in different cells.
