Document Summary

If something is quite new, then it may not be relevant for this case. If there"s an easy answer, there wouldn"t be a dilemma. Using translator may well be appropriate but having the babysitter will be problematic b/c it would be better to have someone who has proper training and understand standardized testing. Ideally to have spanish speaking psychologist to administer the test. Not so appropriate to have an impartial translator since bias. Distinguished by magnitude, equal intervals, absolute zero. Ordinal: has at least an idea of magnitude, rank things, there"s a reason why certain thing is on top of the other. Interval: have magnitude and equal intervals, distance from point a to point is equal. Ratio: zero means nothing is measured, ex. Psychological test that has properties of ratio scale. But maybe there"s none that fits the pure definition. Chart slide: interval, ordinal, nominal, interval, ratio, ordinal.
