Next thursday, read two chapters, taser reading and berlinkski reading midterm. When we look at technology as a thing we look at it as a dot. When we see it as a whole unit, ant reminds us to see it as an actor, when we see things as an actor we constantly see things as an actor. Constrains us in certain ways, it folds time, folds space. What we took to be a network is actually a unit. When we go beyond the impression of unity, and start seeing it as a network, we see technology as a structure of relation. Ant asks us to think of things more than material parts. Not just one definition, role of a gun it all depends on a situation. The author of a source puts together of what body cams are. Not one definition not one essence of body cam.
