Theory"s are tools that have been proven over time to be accurate in describing phenomenon"s. Main theories, structural functionalism, conflict theory, symbolic interactions, critical social theories. Focuses on understanding the meaning of sports and activity for the participants. These type of theories is not welcome by those abusing the social inequalities for profit. The best theory is those that try to be more democratic. Is there no such thing as an objective truth (is nothing true, but rather everything is our interpretation) Most things are up for interpretation as everyone gives their own meaning to things. Several views on social constructionism mild or contextual. Our experience of this reality is mediated by the meanings we give this reality. Therefore the belief that there are multiple realities. We cannot know if anything is real beyond our own experiences. Our interpretations and sense of what is objectively real are all we really have. Attempt to understand how these interpretations and meanings are.
