The microspores undergo mitosis to form the pollen grains. 3 traits of seed plants: heterospory, ovule and pollen grains and pollen tubes. 2 groups of angiosperms: monocot & dicot. Male parts: anther + filament = stamen. Female parts: stigma + style + ovary = carpel. All these parts are surrounded by petals that attract pollinators, which are surrounded by sepals. Anther (2n) contains microsporangia (2n) which contains microsporocytes (2n) that divide by meiosis to form microspores (n). Microspores develops into a male gametophyte (contained within the pollen grain)
