Birth order (3rd children are most likely to get into trouble) Family size (smaller family size, less likely to have delinquency when 1 or 2 kids whereas larger family has more delinquency especially if more males) Divorce factor (messy divorces may have effects) Parental responsiveness (extent that parents support a child"s needs and refers to support, warmth and love, extent to which parents foster individuality, self regulation, support of child"s needs based on age and capability more support less delinquency) Parental demandingness (demanding appropriate behavior based on age, potential, capability less demanding or too much delinquency) Authoritative: supportive and demanding (why we engage in appropriate behavior and its bad to do inappropriate things) Authoritarian: rejecting and extremely demanding, obedience is valued, ordered and structured environment, if you deviate then punishment in ensured, more likely to produce aggressiveness among children that mimic parents who use corporal punishment. Indulgent: supportive and not demanding (allow kids self regulation)
