Possession of an extra y chromosomes believed to be cause of uncontrollable aggressiveness in super males . Modern theories generally contend that criminals are made, not born. Ego: reality principle, keeps id urges in check. Ego and superego balance out urges of the id. Consumption of violent media leads to increased aggression and violence.
