Gene (an ibm project) used 131,000 processors to routinely handle 280 trillion operations every second: embedded computers: touch our everyday lives in devices ranging from cameras, digital recorders and the electronic thermostat in your home and car. Computers work in the language of binary (consists completely of 0"s and 1"s).
