Second-level priorities; not considered life-threatening although they can shift to become first level; need prompt attention, but not necessarily immediate. Third level; learning what they can and can"t do after heart failure/surgery, how to inject insulin. *social determinants of health: influence our health and wellness; social/political/economic status. Health promotion: strength based perspective; what are their strength/what can help then, having pills nearby, smoking outside to prevent second hand smoke. Primary prevention: programs to prevent disease before they happen ex. Program for woman who reach the age known to develop breast cancer.
