Psychology is the scientific study of human behaviour , thought , and experience and how they can be affected by physical, mental and social environmental factors. Sociology - an empirical question about a group experience rather than theory. Introspection- conducted experiments like describe this apple when you bite it in every detail . If you can break something down and understand the small parts, you can understand it as a whole. Used introspection as well but this did not give consistent reliable data so couldn"t be built on. Focuses on the purpose of a process and the advantages resulting from different human attributes. Is the belief that questions can be answered by looking at the behaviour and asking what purpose it serves. Observe a phenomenon, collect data, interpret and come to a conclusion. Questions can be answered by using facts and experiences. Found evidence of mind can"t be proven through behaviours.
