Binding of isaac is a test: discuss the covenant, confirmation of it, talk about his fear of god, isaac"s compliance. Covenant with abraham: first step in making of the first jew, adam and eve, kane and abel. Prelude: created the basis for the future of the jewish community. Outcome of the intercession: mediator between god and people, abraham, moses, elijah. Covenantal community: just the jewish people, everyone who follows the covenant, comes from isiah. People must keep the covenant to stay in the community. Holy nation: nation of people who worship god, live the path of god and exemplify him, it"s an aspect of the choseness. Fear of god: method that god use to drive people to follow him, exemplified by abraham here i am , exact opposite of what adam and eve and kane and abel showed. Double loyalty: quality of every prophet, loyal to god and to the people.
