Asymmetry of frontal lobes quite less than other lobes: high integration of multiple signals coming in from the rest of the brain in order to make complex decisions, executive functioning etc (requires high connection between lobes) Right: language, encoding memories, nonverbal movements, facial expression, retrieving memories. No such thing as a right" or let" brained individual. Deficiency in convergent thinking: using frontal lobes to integrate previously known information to converge onto a single answer. Deficiency in divergent thinking: where you take a concept that has multiple answers and you are able to recognize it. Impaired social and sexual behavior: two consequences: changes in personality, deficits in social and sexual behavior. Slide 5: from a normal control: write words that start with a specific letter for a specific number of minutes, in healthy control, they are able to generate an extensive list in both categories.
