Psychiatrists seeking own fortune, locking up unreasonable who didn"t it into new social system. Trying to secure itself, idenifying people who would be liable to put into an asylum. These people were those who were unreasonable, didn"t it into the logic of the day. People who do not work, and produce future generaions of workers are unreasonable. Growing state authoritarianism-- coninement to stamp out deviancy. Start to regulate people o o o o o o o o o o. Atacked medical model, arguing biological psychiatry had no understanding of physical pathology, contravened convenions of medicine.
