Who makes that decision: rests upon the idea that physicians have a magical power to instantly make us feel better feel better. You are disordered instead of being comforted by the words of the doctor. Heightened bodily sensations; feels colder/hotter than other people, may feel pain more acutely. These behaviours can be very problematic in someone"s daily life: are they mentally ill behaviours or just problematic behaviours, medicalize many aspects of what it means to be human.
