Problem-solving- pick strategy, apply strategy, and apply results. Executive functioning- planning, & initiation of planning, maintain & monitor. Vigilance (focused attention)- do they respond to stimuli. Sustained attention- are they able to sustain/hold stimuli. Selective attention- selecting to attend to specific stimuli despite other things going on around you. Alternating attention- alternating attention between one thing and the other. Divided attention- paying attention to both things at the same time. Procedural memory-remembering how to do certain things, such as how to get to school from apartment. Episodic memory- something you remember based on an event. Words we assign to our ideas to express the meaning of our thoughts to others. Simply the sounds your mouth makes in order to produce verbal language.
