Frame- structure that shapes how people interpret their perception. Fundamental attribution error- tendency to attribute others behavior to internal causes & their + behaviors to external causes. Generalized other- collection of roles, rules, norms, beliefs, and attitudes endorsed by the community. Identity- composed of individual and social categories and makes up who a person is. Interpretation- the act of assigning meaning to sensory information. Label- name assigned to a category based on one"s perception of the category. Looking-glass self- idea that self-image results from the images others reflect back to an individual. Organization- process in which one recognizes what sensory input represents.
