This was the way of life, hunting and gathering, until everything changed around 12,000 years ago. In eurasia, africa and european countries, people began to cultivate crops, domesticate animals and became less nomadic. This was referred to as the neolithic (new stone age) and also the agricultural revolution. The revolution marked a technological breakthrough with immerse significance for humans. The first 150,000 years or more of human experience was exclusively african story. 200,000 to 250,000 years ago, in eastern/southern africa the first homo sapiens emerged, following other human-like species before it. Time and climate erased many records of these early people.
