They were extremists in the lengths to which they went in with their assaults but they were predictable with whom they decided to attack. a. ii. Many people were already victims of prejudice before. Violence became contagious and accusations from one group easily made its way to another group. a. iv. Propaganda would normally show jews as being deformed and criminal which could easily compare them to disabled people and gypsies: eugenics and attitudes toward people deemed disabled a. i. The first category of people deemed for mass killing were those who were disabled. a. i. 1. The nazi leaders may have thought of them as easy targets considering they were already isolated from society. a. ii. Many citizens would ridicule, take advantage of, and abuse those who were weaker than them. a. iii.
