Many models to the study of any phenomena. Positions models in the big question of what wisdom and knowledge means. Compare models contributions to other account to identify the conditionality of intuitive relationships. Many models corrects for the fact that models=simplify. They discount friction and geometry in fma. The opposite is also valid- models assume a regular structure to isolate phenomena. Doesn"t have to embody the real world. All models are wrong because they omit details. A model"s usefulness depends on purpose of the models- we should apply many models. If it were possible to have a set of models produce in depth lies for a true-false proposition, then the truth would be in the models majority (p. 39) According to the theorem if we came up with a set of better than random in depth models we would almost always be right. Data----------info puts data into categories- knowledge through models/observations. Wisdom comes from reading literature (and math and science)
