It allows you to explore and write about a text in a way that interests you not in some way you think you are. Fishbowling encourages you be curious and make your own discoveries. It should get you away from and beyond the predictable and the obvious response to a text. Hopefully it will accommodate you in getting away from writing the same old stuff in the same old way you always have. Fishbowling helps so you find something fresh, original, and of your own to write about in assignments. This is a group endeavor, which follows individual close and active reading.
